" LUDIK " est un recueil comportant 4 pièces:

- n°1: " Une étrange sieste "("A strange nap"): difficulté: 5 1/2 sur 8;

- n°2: " Le cabri " ("The kid" ("The small goat")): difficulté: 5 sur 8;

- n°3: "Jeu de touches " ("Set of keys"): difficulté: 6 sur 8;

- n°4: " Cool Music " (difficulté: 5 sur 8).

n°1: "Une étrange sieste" ("A strange Nap"):

qui n'a pas désiré cela: faire une sieste tranquille et réparatrice... Mais voilà, dans cette pièce, cela ne se passe pas ainsi! Elle illustre les ennuis d'un dormeur confronté à un insecte plutôt envahissant.

D'un niveau de 2è cycle et enveloppant par des harmonies modernes une chanson enfantine, les chants "legato" et expressifs passent d'une main à l'autre avec parfois leur croisement et demandent une bonne indépendance sonore; ils contrastent avec des traits rapides au tempo juste, rythmiques et sans pédale, ce qui décrit l'agacement du dérangement causé. Les accélérés en "staccato" requièrent de la maîtrise pour respecter l'exacte interprétation. Il en est même pour les ralentis amenant les changements expressifs liés aux somnolences du dormeur et, vers la fin, au tintement d'une horloge... La sieste se fera t-elle?

Cette pièce interprétée avec humour, caractère, technique et musicalité, ne peut être qualifiée de "facile", détrompez-vous!

English: LUDIK 1: "A strange Nap". A piece with modern harmonies of medium difficulty. It illustrates the troubles of a sleeper whose nap is disturbed by the unexpected arrival of an invasive insect.The expressive “legato “melody passes from one hand to the other and crosses hands.This requires a good sonority independence and contrast with the fast lines at the right tempo rhythmic and without pedal.The staccato accelerando require skill to respect the exact interpretation. It is the same for the slow motion to bring about expressive changes relating to the sleeper’s drowsiness, and towards the end of the piece to the tolling of the clock.This piece which should be interpreted with humor and character, technique and musicality cannot be qualified as « easy », think again!

n°2: " Le cabri " ("The kid"):

qu'il est touchant ce petit cabri qui batifole pendant sa promenade alpestre, sur sonorités classiques début du 20è siècle!

L'indépendance technique est présente en début et fin de morceau; la main gauche souvent staccato est associée à une rigoureuse régularité des doubles croches de la main droite aux nuances changeantes; la partie médiane abordant un chant expressif à la main droite repris par la main gauche et soutenu par des arpèges, permet l'expression tout en développant extensions des doigts et souplesse des poignets. Cette pièce très agréable demande une bonne maîtrise du clavier.

  English: LUDIK 2 "The kid" ( « The small goat »). This piece classically written describes an alpine walk of a small animal. It is between easy and medium difficulty. Technical independence is present at the beginning and at the end of the piece; the left hand is often staccato and piano, is associated with the rigorous regularity of the 16th notes in the right hand with changing nuances. A technical and musical dialogue, common to both hands with the indicated tempo is to be respected and that is one of the main difficulties encountered.The middle section which addresses an expressive melodic line in the right hand is taken up by the left and supported by arpeggios.This highlights the musicality well developing extension to the fingers and flexibility of the wrists.This pleasing work requires a good mastery of the keyboard which will allow you to go to acquire the progress necessary for good musical growth.

n°3: "Jeu de touches" ("Set of keys"):

dans un style américo-latino, cette pièce est écrite en majeure partie sur les touches noires afin d'en maîtriser la difficulté; elle demande déjà une bonne technique. Les 1ère et 3è parties, très "dansantes", sont dans un tempo vif et très rythmé (mesure à 8/8) avec la main gauche en croches parfois accentuées et la main droite très souvent en accords scandés ; la partie médiane plus lente, aborde un 3/4 avec un chant très expressif à la main droite accompagnée d'arpèges pour la main gauche.

Cette pièce est une véritable invitation à la danse et... ne nous privons pas!

Niveau : 6 / 8. Minutage : 04'00".

English: Ludik 3 "Set of keys".This piece with Latin American style harmonies, medium difficulty is written for mastering the technique on the black keys. This is an invitation to dance.The first and third sections require a good mastery of the “tempo”: time signatures of 8/8, Tempo vivo, very rhythmic with the left hand in “rhythm“ and the right hand and accented chords or in rhythmic lines.The middle part address a 3/4 moderato with a very expressive right hand and a legato accompaniment in arpeggios for the left hand.The difficulties mastered will make it possible to acquire the progress necessary for a good rhythmic foundation and a beautiful musical expression in the interpretation. This piece is very pleasant to play and is pleasing to the listener.

n°4: "Cool Music":

pièce dédiée à Bernadette Louesse écrite en fonction de son désir: "faire ses premiers pas vers une musique moins classique que celle qu'elle pratique".

Les accords jazz basiques traités le plus souvent à l'état fondamental, sont agrémentés par une mélodie qui permet de mettre en évidence musicalité et tempo "détendu". Les nuances sont laissées libres afin de favoriser l'expression créative de chaque interprète. L'interprétation (pouvant être éventuellement un peu "swinguée" pour certains passages) et l'écart des 7èmes sont les principales difficultés à vaincre, ce, afin de s'évader de la rigidité rythmique classique. La notation américaine n'est volontairement pas mentionnée.

Très agréable à jouer avec le bonheur de faire ce que l'on veut (enfin presque...), "Cool Music" permettra à l'interprète d'accéder aux joies de nouvelles harmonies et de partager cet instant avec le public.

Niveau : 5/8 (assez facile fort). Minutage : 1'30.

English: LUDIK 4 : « Cool Music » This rather simple piece is dedicated to B. Louesse, who wanted a simple jazz style.The basic chords permit the left hand to become familiar with the foot prints of seventh chords.The very cantabile melody is embellished with runs, in an Improvisational style. Altogether this offers a very calm moment to the interpreter as well as to the listener a privileged instant where happens.There are few interpretive suggestions on the score so that the pianist is free to use his or her imagination.The “swing “style can be represented loose particularly in the middle of the piece.There is much pleasure and relaxation for this piece which doesn’t leave one in different.
