        Cette pièce pour alto niveau début de 1er cycle, est dédiée à Nicolas Patris de Breuil, professeur au CRD d'Aix-en-Provence. Le tempo moderato évoque la démarche d'un petit coyote se promenant. L'écriture aux harmonies modernes-américaines permet d'apprendre à bien placer les doigts et d'acquérir une bonne position. Les coups d'archets et doigtés sont laissés libres afin que chacun puisse choisir un travail personnel. L'expression par le contrôle et précision des nuances et "rubato" permettra de développer la musicalité.
