Cette pièce à l'atmosphère océane et aux harmonies parfois très modernes, réunit bien des difficultés pianistiques afin de décrire l'imprudence d'un nageur rêveur plongeant dans les flots, sa confrontation avec une créature semblant inoffensive mais à laquelle il échappera de justesse, mésaventure qui lui apportera réflexion, puis une sérénité enfin retrouvée; vélocité fluide de la main droite, égalité des plans sonores malgré le legato et les changements de mains, contrôle et précision des nuances ainsi que de la ponctuation, phrasé, sont les difficultés techniques abordées afin de pouvoir maîtriser cette œuvre relativement assez difficile.
Méritant amplement sa place dans le répertoire, elle n'aura aucun mal à être proposée pour les concours et programmée dans les concerts.
Niveau : 7/8 , assez difficile (à difficile). Minutage : 6'45.

For piano, modern harmonies.Technically and musically difficult because one must which evoke a careless swimmer who dives into the water, and his encounter with a creature which seems harmless but from whom he will narrowly escape, his reflection on his misadventure and serenity. Mastery of the sound to express state of well being, his dive, the air bubbles going to the surface, the call, the awakening of the creature. A clear technique, fluid expressive gives the arpeggios in the right-hand the movement of a wave; the left hand is gently timbered which will bring the melody to an accelerando; the alternate hands evoking the humor of the decision for the creature to catch the intruder; technique again then suspension leaves the swimmer facing the ocean for an instant, the chords a the end bring back serenity.
Difficulty: 7/8; Timing: 6'45; Style: very modern.
